Thomas Quasthoff will join Barenboim for Schubert’s Winterreise on April 9th, and for the first time in the history of the Festtage, the Filarmonica della Scala will give two performances with Barenboim in the Philharmonie Berlin on April 10th and 11th. Verdi’s Requiem is on both programs, and on the 11th the orchestra is joined by Lang Lang for Bartok’s 2nd Piano Concerto.
