CHAMBER MUSIC AT THE STAATSOPER
On Sunday, March 8th, the Barenboim Cycle at the Staatsoper continues with works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in continuing celebration of the composer’s 200th birthday. The Staatskapelle’s principal cellist Claudius Popp will perform both cello sonatas; violinist Laura Volkwein will join them in the second half for the Piano Trio in d minor; and baritone Hanno Müller-Brachman will sing selected songs.
