The tour includes four performances in London's Royal Festival Hall, one in Birmingham, and three in the Salle Pleyel in Paris. Barenboim will perform and conduct all five Beethoven piano concertos, which are paired with many of the major orchestral works of Schönberg ranging from the early Transfigured Night to twelve-tone works such as the Variations for Orchestra, Op. 31.
