Barenboim will replace Levine on March 3rd and 6th

James Levine, who was to lead the Staatskapelle Berlin in performances of Mahler's Third Symphony on March 3rd and 6th and perform a piano duo recital with Barenboim on March 5th, was forced to postpone his appearances due to health reasons. Barenboim will take to the podium for the Mahler concerts on March 3rd and 6th, but will unfortunately be unable to grow a second pair of arms in time for the piano four hands repertoire he and Levine had planned to play on March 5th. For this reason, the concert has been postponed indefinitely and tickets for this performance will be refunded.
