BARENBOIM RECEIVES THEODOR-WANNER PRIZE
On Friday, April 3rd, Daniel Barenboim received the Theodor-Wanner Prize for cultural dialogue from the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (institute for foreign relations). The prize was awarded to him for his work with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, and the laudation was held by Joschka Fischer, former foreign minister of Germany.
