Beethoven and Schönberg in Vienna
This weekend, Barenboim returns to the Vienna Philharmonic, where he has been a regular guest conductor for the past several decades, to play Beethoven's First Piano Concerto (conducting as usual from the piano bench) and Schönberg's Pelléas und Melisande.
